Connect 03:53
I heard the story that this world is at an end And I can hardly believe what is happenin' Then I wonder just who we will blame for this Then I wonder just who will clean up this mess I thought you said you wouldn't dance But you stomp your feet and you clap your hands To the song of world destructions To the song of disconnection This way of life, the way of "Man" Is sinking in its own quicksand We've got to stop, we've got to stop, We've got to stop and *think* I want to ~ Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the life force that we have forgotten Connect with each other, real community Connect with my purpose and responsibility I told you that I wouldn't dance and I'm doing everything I can To stop mindless destruction To sing for reconnection I realize now, open eyed now I see my compromises No longer will I sacrifice The power of my life I want to ~ Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the life force that we have forgotten Connect with each other, real community Connect with my purpose and responsibility Hey hey hey hey hey hey ~ Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the life force that we have forgotten Connect with each other, real community Connect with my purpose and responsibility I heard the story that this world is at an end And I can hardly believe what is happenin' Then I wonder just who we will blame for this Then I wonder just who will clean up this mess I want to ~ Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the problems, connect all the dots Connect to the problems, connect all the dots

We know so many languages We speak so many words We make our noises louder than Voices that go unheard But it's an Incomplete harmony We're not listening to what we sing ~ We write a symphony with every day that passes With our own melodies so loud we don't hear clashes We all sing the only song in this Uni-Verse It's our decision if this is better or worse But it's an Incomplete harmony We're not listening to what we sing ~ It's an Incomplete harmony We're not listening to what we sing ~ We know so many languages We speak so many words We make our noises louder than Voices that go unheard It's an incomplete harmony . . . But it's an Incomplete harmony We're not listening to what we sing ~

Tsunami . . . A human life is so short It rolls and crashes like a wave on the shore If we are like waves across the ocean We rise and fall, continuing the motion of Everything that we have ever been, and Everything that we are doin' The force of human nature is taking over ~ Every waves moves the sand As every life transforms the land We're rolling over, crashing all that we can see We move with the media and take what we don't need We raise the temperatures and continue to breed And as the ice caps melt, we're a Tsunami . . . The force of human nature is taking over ~ And we don't feel it, but we're raping Mother Earth Doing what we want and forgetting what is hers The force of human nature is taking over ~ When will we stop and think? When will we start to *FEEL*?

Country Road 02:31
I want to plant a seed and watch it grow Learn the things I want to know Follow my dreams down a country road Somewhere in southern Ontario I want to find a place to call my home Listen to the land and let it bloom from it's soul We can plant our hearts and watch them grow Somewhere in southern Ontario Would you like to walk along Fields of sweet corn that seem to go on forever Would you like to come along Oh the seeds that we could sow together Let's follow our dreams down a country road We'll go anywhere you'd like to go We can plant our hearts and watch them grow Somewhere in southern Ontario

I'm laying on the couch, staring at the screen Lights and messages and people I see My body is limp, my brain is thick And I am forgetting everything I forgot there is sun outside I forgot that I am alive I forgot the blue of the sky I forgot to open my eyes I'm standing on the grass Looking at the sky Wondering, wondering, wondering why I've wasted so many hours of my life Hypnotized I forgot there is sun outside I forgot that I am alive I forgot my unwritten lines I forgot my freedom of mind The lake, the sky, the birds, the trees The wealth of possibilities The life around and inside me The world is all my family I forgot there is sun outside I forgot that I am alive I forgot there is sun outside I forgot that I am alive I forgot the flowing of time I forgot that this life is mine I forgot to let my light shine

Memory 02:23
Your memory is part of me, like Decomposing autumn leaves Become the earth that's underneath Your Love is sleeping peacefully Times passes in days, months, years I still remember what was here The seeds we planted grow in sand that's Blowing away slowly, slowly Now leaves grow out of me In colours my eyes can't believe Another day, another dream Your memory is part of me Another day, another dream Your memory is part of me Another day, another dream Your memory will always be Your memory is part of me, like Decomposing autumn leaves Become the Earth that's underneath Your Love is sleeping peacefully

From a factory farm to a slaughter house Just close your eyes and open your mouth From a laboratory to a living being Just forget the story, and keep on eating What the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are we feeding ourselves? From a third world country to a grocery shelf Don't think about them, and help yourself From a marketing boardroom to a colourful box Put it inside you, and don't stop What the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are we feeding ourselves? Take all of your problems, and all of your pain Here's a short-term solution: eat them away Take all of your money, and all of your thoughts Here's de-evolution at low cost What the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are we feeding ourselves? If we are what we eat, and we eat what we kill Maybe we're slowly killing ourselves If I am what I eat, then I am what they make me From now on I won't be, anything but what I choose to be What the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are they feeding us? Tell me, what the fuck are we feeding ourselves?

Wolf 05:16
The full moon, it fills the night It shows a world where all’s not right I run to the mountain, I run up high and my only instinct is to sing to the sky Ooooooooooh ~ This foreign land has shown me my own bones, my skeleton of beliefs All this rain, all this time alone has washed away my debris I look from a tower of priviledge down to a galaxy of lights and my only instinct is to sing to the sky Ooooooooooh ~ Can you hear the song from my soul traveling with the wind? I can feel you across the world I believe we are kin In this moment, we are united together by life and my only instinct is to sing to the sky Oooooooooooh ~ This world is ours, this world is us, and everything that love This is the time, we need to help eachother learn and rise above And although our lives are small compared to it all We are very powerful, and mustn’t let this world fall Oooooooooooh ~

Recipe 03:29
She is alive, but she doesn't know why She opens her eyes, and looks for signs She decides to do what makes her heart sing * She has the recipe to turn her dreams into reality * Her dreams shine like treasure across the desert She will find friends along the way Her red heart is a gentle compass * She has the recipe to turn her dreams into reality *

Be My Lover 03:19
A waterfall of music Pushes us to dance together And in this rainbow darkness We are birds of the same feather A wave of electricity Surrounds and pulls us under We swim between the vines of light Towards the moan of thunder Be my Lover If only tonight There is no other This moment is right You are a sweet fruit fallen from a tree I've never been to I'm salivating I'd love nothing more now than to taste you Be my Lover If only tonight There is no other This moment is right Be my Lover, Be my Je ne sais quoi . . . A waterfall of music Pushes us to dance together And in this rainbow darkness We are birds of the same feather Be my Lover If only tonight There is no other This moment is right Be, my Love <3

So Good 04:28

about

My second album, Mindshift. In my early 20s I began to expand my awareness about environmental challenges, and went to an inspiring talk by David Suzuki in Toronto. I bought one of his books and he signed it "For a mindshift". Hence, Mindshift was born.

The album was produced in Sarnia by Adam Miner, who is very talented at creating professional-sounding records. The result is a very powerful musical message!

Released under my name from a previous chapter of existence, Court Lajoie. ;)
